shirataki, in response to your silent inquiry, is a sort of tofu noodly yummy thing. They come in these little clear watery sacks at the grocery andd they’re not very expensive….. When you open the package they reek, so you have to rinse them a few times and heat them up. But they are sooooo good. Especially with this thai/ vietnamese- ish salty salty soup base that we have in the fridge mixed in. Mmmmmmmm. Except I’m sort of splattering little droplets of brothy stuff on my keyboard.
